Remote debug does not work at all #143
Description
Using Visualstudio 2015 Update 3
Windows 10 SDK 10.0.14393
the older ones where installed as well
Hololens OS build 10.0.14393.2068
Firmware 0005.05.S.1801091036R
It times out and crashes at "Updating the Layout"
worked 2 weeks ago with another hololens that propably had an earlier SDK
Can't downgrade because others are using the device as well.
PS.:
can't test much longer with different setups, visualstudio just uninstalled the Common tools for Visual C++ 2015 again because they are according to google "binary-compatible with the Visual Studio 2017 ones" again, installing that will fail after robbing me of 45 minutes of my life with no error message like allways because i have to uninstall the 2017 packages before i can install the 2015 ones again, seriously, microsoft, get your stuff together or GPL it, never had such problems on Linux, it's enfuriating
