heh... less than an hour after I posted this, Demitrius Nelon (@denelon) added I'm going to take that as a "no, please don't submit yet another PR" input, and hold off on this for a while... |

I have a project that I submitted to WinGet recently (PR #436031), and it is currently stuck in
Validation-Domain... it is alsoNew-Package... "All Checks have Passed"... the program is released on GitLab.The interesting point is, that this program is the only program of mine that is on GitLab... all of my other repos are on GitHub...
I had hosted this one on GitLab, because I forked it from an earlier program that was on GitLab, and I thought it would be courteous to keep my distribution on that author's host...
However, in reading various threads here (in particular, Imre Eilertsen (@DandelionSprout)'s popular "Elephant in the Room" thread) , I get the impression that my PR might move more smoothly if I moved the project to GitHub and submitted from there... at a minimum, I think I will be less likely to get stuck in
Validation-Domainin that case...Is this a reasonable thing to consider?
If I do follow that path, should I close the existing PR before creating a new one??
