Hello mossmatters,
I designed a new bait and I am digging into some of the classic HybPiper stats to be able to compare my design performance with published designs.
Could you tell me how the PctOnTarget is calculated if using a protein target with blastx? Could you also confirm what is the exact content of the gene_interleaved.file (e.g. just R1 + R2 + SE or R1/R2 + SE)? Can we expect the same percentages using hybpiper stats and just the count of reads from all the interleaved gene files?
Thank you in advance for your reply!
