Japanese text paste is not working

Describe the bug
When I am trying to paste the Japanese text, It is not getting pasted, it is pasting the "?" this character in the console.

To reproduce
Try to paste the japanese character via clipboard.

Expected behavior
Japanese character should get pasted.

It works for me when I copy a Japanese character from this page. In both Firefox and Google Chrome.

Have you tested that pasting Japanese text works in e.g. a terminal directly on the machine running the VNC server?
