• Joint refit across factor levels: families other than Beta, per-level ranges, adapt_delta and a shared dispersion are unverified

• summary() does not report divergent transitions, although example2 says it warns of them

• nec() on a hurdle fit never reports that the combined value includes an NSEC component

open-AIMS/bayesnec#446 · Filter by author beckyfisher opened on Sep 26, 2026

• get_priors() does not check a disp() term against the family, so it fails inside brms or returns priors for a model bnec() refuses

• bnec() with disp(~z), z a column other than the predictor, samples and then fails on the prediction grid

• A zero_inflated_beta response at one bound in every observation is fitted, where a beta response is refused

• A decreasing xform still reverses the interval where a grid end maps to infinity, and in the hurdle base plot

• A crf() predictor written with a leading minus is fitted without it and reported with it

open-AIMS/bayesnec#438 · Filter by author beckyfisher opened on Sep 26, 2026

• ecnsec() gives no indication that nsec lies outside the prediction range, and on a hurdle fit its xform transforms the percentage

• amend(add = ) fails on every Gamma fit, and builds an added equation's priors without the disp() term

open-AIMS/bayesnec#436 · Filter by author beckyfisher opened on Sep 26, 2026

• update(newdata = ) judges the family from the new data, so Gamma, hurdle and joint fits are refused and a forced refit receives data adjusted for the wrong family

open-AIMS/bayesnec#435 · Filter by author beckyfisher opened on Sep 26, 2026

• bnec_hurdle() passes a disp() term to the survival block, so the growth dispersion cannot be modelled
