ORBINUM AMBASSADOR PROGRAM

How does the program work?

  1. All ambassadors are encouraged to participate in performing the tasks. Not participating will result in no rewards.
  2. There will be core tasks and optional tasks every month.
  3. Core tasks are mandatory and will be recurring.
  4. Optional tasks can be chosen depending on your skills and talent. You can choose up to 2 different optional tasks in a month.
  5. If you achieve 100%, you will get the full rewards. If you achieve only 50%, you will get half of the full rewards.
  6. If there is a surplus in a particular month, it will be distributed equally to those who achieved ≥80%.
  7. In case that there is a surplus and no one achieves ≥80%, the surplus will remain in the Community Treasury.
  8. In addition to the reward pool, an additional 30% bonus will be distributed to those who achieve an average ≥90% for each quarter.
  9. In case that you do group work with other ambassadors — e.g. two ambassadors from the same country jointly organise a local meetup — please submit your contribution individually, stating that it is group work. This is to avoid confusion. Points will be given individually.
  10. An example of how the calculation works can be found HERE (link to calculation example).
  11. Reward pool. The monthly pool is fixed in advance — before TGE it is the program reserve divided by the months remaining; after mainnet it is the emissions earned by the Ambassador-Owned Validator. It does not grow with headcount. The pool is divided by the total weight of the active cohort to give the base allocation, and the number of seats is capped so that the base allocation cannot fall below pool ÷ seat cap. Pool and seat cap are republished each quarter.
  12. Emissions are finite. ORB has a hard cap of 1,000,000,000 and no perpetual inflation. Staking emissions run over roughly 10 years from mainnet, the pool is largest in the early years, and it has an end date. When emissions are exhausted, the funding mechanism for this programme will be renegotiated openly with the community rather than assumed to continue. The monthly pool figure is republished each quarter. See Emissions are finite for the full explanation — please read it before joining.
  13. The score is evaluated and determined by the Growth Lead, with input from the Orbinum core team. In the next version, when the "Lead Ambassador" title is officially activated, they may take over the role of assessment as a council.
  14. New ambassadors serve a 1-month trial period before rewards begin. Contributions during the trial are scored and reviewed, and the assessment at the end of one-full-month determines whether to continue upon mutual agreement.

Core Tasks (Mandatory)

ID Description Required Quantity KPI Max Points
CM Community Management — Support and manage your local community by answering questions and providing necessary information. This includes translating official announcements, documentation and articles into your local language. Those who do not have a local community, or have a small one, are required to extend their support to the main Discord community. Please install Combot on your Telegram channel so that you can provide statistics with a Combot link.

Evaluation criteria — Local community support, Discord support, community size, activity level, relevance, quantity, news and articles posted, proactive support, overall impact on the community.
Day to day Interaction & Growth 25
SM Social Media Engagement — Put "Orbinum Network Ambassador" on your X account. Create short quality content or memes on X or other social platforms. Share your posts with your local community and get them to amplify. Share your X analytics every month.

Evaluation criteria — Content quality and quantity, threads, relevance, brand awareness, business development, analytics, impact, creativity, visibility.

Note — The relentless promotion of a specific project built on Orbinum, by being an ambassador or core team member of that project, will not be taken into account.
2 per week Quality & Interaction 25

Optional Tasks (Choose up to 2 tasks/month)

ID Description Required Quantity KPI Max Points
DOC Documentation Contribution — Improve the official documentation. This includes translating docs pages, writing builder-facing guides and quickstarts, correcting errors, and producing tutorials that fill gaps in the current docs. Submit as a pull request or a clearly structured document handed to the core team.

Evaluation criteria — Accuracy, clarity, technical depth, gap filled, whether the contribution was merged or adopted, maintenance burden created or removed.

Note — This is currently the highest-leverage task in the program. Builder documentation is thin and it is blocking developer adoption.
1 per month Quality & Adoption 25
CC Content Creation — Create content. This can be an article, thread-length explainer or tutorial in written or video format. The content has to be ORIGINAL.

Evaluation criteria — Quality, originality, quantity, relevance, brand awareness, business development, work dedicated and promotion.

Note — Content explaining the privacy architecture, selective disclosure, or the compliance angle accurately is weighted higher than general announcements. Twitter threads are evaluated under SM, not here.
1 per month Quality & Reach 25
EM Event Management — Organise an online or physical meetup with your local community. Plan ahead and reach out to us if you need financial support. It is best to record the session.

Evaluation criteria — Quality, quantity, size of event, number of participants, brand awareness, business development, time dedicated, planning and coordination, report quality, community impact and feedback.
1 per month Quality & Engagement 25
BD Business Development — Reach out to projects, wallets, infrastructure providers or exchanges relevant to Orbinum. You have to be able to pitch Orbinum accurately before handing the conversation over to the core team. A special bonus is given for a project that commits to deploying natively on Orbinum. 1 per month Quality & Success 25
VAL Validator Operations — Participate in the Ambassador-Owned Validator pilot: monitoring, uptime reporting, upgrade coordination and incident response. Available only to ambassadors selected for the pilot cohort, and only once the node is live.

Evaluation criteria — Uptime contribution, response time to incidents, quality of handover and reporting, adherence to the operating runbook.
Day to day Reliability 25

For any other type of contribution not listed above, please reach out to the team.
