Porting jsonschema to andriod [termux]

hi everyone.
So i am trying to migrate wger to android and run it locally on android to make it smooth and more reliable when i don't have internet.

And with the chain of dependency,
wger -> drf_spectacular -> jsonschema -> rpds.
So the issue is that rpds is rust FFI, and and having to compile rust code and setting up rust is not something easy thing to do.

tldr; So what i wanted to know is, is their a good or better way to migrate jsonschema away from rpds, before i fork the repo and rewrite all the rpds API in pure python, or rewrite the jsonschema logic .
As the plan is to run the wger in local system with just the local user with very minor activity. performance is not something to be concerned. And i was hoping before rpds we might have written parts of the code in pure python or c. So i just wanted to get some insight.
