Problem
Users of Arc, Dia, and Codex can copy the current browser URL with
⌘⇧C, without moving focus to the address bar. That becomes a familiar shortcut when sharing pages or adding references to a prompt. In T3 Code’s built-in browser, users have to focus and copy the address bar instead. Moving between these tools interrupts an established keyboard workflow.
Proposal
Expose
preview.copyUrlin Settings → Keybindings, withmod+shift+cas its default while the browser has focus. The command copies the current address and shows the same style of confirmation toast as thread copying. Outside the browser, the existing thread and PR reference shortcut keeps its behavior. Users can change the binding through the existing keybinding settings.
Scope
One command using the existing keybinding system, with no new browser controls.
A fork implementation and verification details are available in austin-guevara#1.
