Feature Request: Bibliography Generation & Citation

Is it possible to add a yaml argument that would take a bibliography file(s) and csl?

Is one of the template not correctly working with how bibliography support is documented ?

I'll just follow up on this (please let me know whether I should make a separate issue). How can one implement the citeproc + csl option into a custom Typst format? I assume it's currently handled by the default Quarto templates, so the functionality is likely there, but maybe you can point the crucial bits out?

Not sure what you are asking about exactly... 🤔 Are you looking for your custom templates to work with Citeproc feature from Pandoc instead of using the native citation support from Typst ?

The biblio.typ partial is the one having the content https://github.com/cderv/quarto-cli/blob/bbcf429d2927af24199ec38024c1732ec223139e/src/resources/formats/typst/pandoc/quarto/biblio.typ

After that, this is about citeproc: false or true in the configuration I believe, as documented in https://quarto.org/docs/output-formats/typst.html#bibliography

Note the csl is now supported for native typst in recent typst (so in Quarto 1.7)

Ah, that's great, I won't bother with that then as it supported in 1.7. (And yes, you completely understood what I meant - sorry for the vagueness!)
