This wont be reliable since gpu usage percentage is tied to clockspeed (example: idle clock 300mhz and boost clock 2ghz) and hardware type being used (video decoding engine..) You are free to attempt to create your own script for pausing: (Set lively pause setting to always play to disable in-app pause.) |

None of the current pause algorithms provide a seamless experience for me. I'm running a dual monitor set up and game a lot on the main screen. I'd like a seamless experience where I never notice the background unpausing. Which unfortunately is the case for all pause algorithms. The only exception is Direct3D but that doesn't even un-pause for borderless windowed games.
The only thing I can think of that's relatively easy to implement is a GPU load-based pause algorithm. Once a system's GPU gets utilized beyond the % threshold the user sets, Lively Wallpaper pauses. This would ensure the wallpaper is always running when web browsing/writing emails but would stop once we're gaming or watching a video using Nvidia's VSR.
