Scene duplicate checker clarifications please #7281

Two related questions -

It's not clear to me how to initiate a scene duplicate check. If I navigate to the Duplicate Scenes tool (Settings/Tools/Scene duplicate checker) there is no button to launch it. I have "Generate video perceptual hashes" turned on for Library scans, I thought this would be enough? I've seen duplicates reported in the past.
How come I see loads of hits when I filter scenes for "File Count is greater than 1", but none of these are reported in the Duplicate Checker screen?

just opening that page initiates the duplicate check
however, that page only shows duplicates across scenes (based on phash). if a scene has multiple files already that does not show up there, and you would have to find those with a file count > 1 query like you say (or with an external tool)
