I'd like to be able to set up a program on my washing machine, then enable remote control, and then let Home Assistant start the washing machine when energy is cheapest.
Right now I can enable remote control, but after 15 minutes the washing machine goes to sleep.
Using the Home Assistant integration I can then wake it up, but I have no option to change the program. If I start the washing machine it will use the cotton program at 40 degrees
It would be great if the following would be added:
- a select entity to select the program (which will update automatically when a program on the washing machine is selected by using the buttons)
- a select entity to select the water heat
- a select entity to select the centrifuge speed
When enabling remote control I can store these in variables, then when the machine is waken up, I should be able to set the right options using the select entities, and start the program I want to start.
