Propagating SQLWarning to the client

I am working on a custom JDBC connector and I’m looking for a way to propagate JDBC warnings (SQLWarning) to the client (in my case, the Trino CLI). ChatGPT suggested that this should be done via the WarningCollector object. However, it seems this object is not available in the standard API — it belongs to QueryStateMachine and can be accessed through the getWarningCollector method, but QueryStateMachine is not accessible from BaseJdbcClient.
