I'm playing with VP9, and one of my test sequences contains black frames. My guess is that they are the reason of strange behavior of codecbench, it fails somewhere inside of scipy.
As I investigated, video_metrics estimates PSNR as Inf for some frames and also the result PSNR for the sequence is Inf.
