Mapping to ports like ttyACM0

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Arduino's register on ttyACM0

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It would be great if the config file allowed one to map directly to a port 
comm_ports=/dev/ttyACM0

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
