Export Dictionaries Option Opens The Share Menu

When I select the Export Dictionaries option in the Settings menu, it opens the Share menu instead of downloading a file.

I'm not sure if this is the intended functionality, but I would prefer the ability to directly download the file to my phone, as opposed to uploading it somewhere else. I might be missing something, but I can't find a way to save it locally.

You are describing an android issue.

The app itself does not know your intent. Do you want to upload the file to a cloud storage service, send to a friend or save locally.

I can recommend this app to be able to save files locally from the share screen.

Sidenote, apps can register different file types for the share screen. The apps you can see in the screenshot you provided are not able to open a SQLite file. They instead chose to "support" all file types.

It is intended to open the share menu as file management apps tend to register themselves to handle these cases (at least the one I use), the native file manager tends to not be great, and if you don't use a separate file manager app, you're likely not wanting to manage files locally.

I'll test out options on saving the file locally in a future update.
