Before: the README opens with the AI-generated CipherStick USB-stick banner (docs/banner2.png) on a solid gray background.

After: the README opens with the Balls logo on a transparent background. The icon on the left is the Tails logo in orange, with purple windows and padlock. The tagline reads "Bitcoin anonymous live low-profile system". Only "Bitcoin" is gray, the words run together with no gaps, the l's of "live" and "low-profile" fall under the two l's of "Balls", and "system" ends under the "s". In GitHub's dark theme, a version with lighter purple and gray (docs/balls-dark.png) is shown instead, so the logo stays readable.

CipherStick stays the user-facing name. The app, menu, icons, repo name and install one-liner are unchanged.

How: started from Ben's transparent Sep 22 10:43 image. Its AI-drawn icon was replaced with the official Tails logo artwork (tails.net/lib/logo.svg, itself based on "USB" by Ilsur Aptukov from the Noun Project), recolored and drawn at the same size and position. The tagline was erased and set again in Ubuntu at 40px with natural spacing. It is positioned so the midpoint between its two l's sits under the midpoint between the two l's of "Balls", and at this size its right end lines up with the "s". The canvas is trimmed to the artwork. The README uses a <picture> element with relative paths, and the dark version is picked by prefers-color-scheme.

Swap the README banner for the transparent Balls logo. The tagline
reads "Bitcoin anonymous live low-profile system" with only "Bitcoin"
gray, "anonymous" and "low-profile" bold, and the l's of "live" and
"low-profile" set under the two l's of "Balls".

CipherStick remains the user-facing name; only the image changes.

The github-advanced-security check fails here for a reason unrelated to this PR. It fails the same way on every open PR ("model not supported") because of the model chosen in the repo's Copilot settings, and this PR changes only a PNG and one README line. There's no code fix to port. The check will pass once that setting is changed.

Set the tagline at its natural spacing with no gaps between words, and
reduce it from 62px to 40px so "system" ends under the "s" of "Balls".
The l's of "live" and "low-profile" still sit under the two l's.

Ben picked the larger 52px tagline. Slide it left so "system" ends at
the right edge of the "s" and "Bitcoin" starts inside the left edge of
the bitcoin B, so the tagline no longer runs past either end of "Balls".

Ben chose the 40px version: the l's of "live" and "low-profile" fall
under the two l's of "Balls", and "system" ends under the "s".

The icon left of "Balls" was an AI-drawn copy of the Tails logo with
wobbly lines and misshapen windows and padlock. Replace it with the
official Tails logo artwork (tails.net/lib/logo.svg), keeping the same
size, position and colors: orange body, purple windows and padlock.

On GitHub's dark theme the purple wordmark and tagline were about
1.6:1 against the background and hard to read. Serve a variant with a
lighter purple and gray through <picture> and prefers-color-scheme; the
light version is unchanged.

Analyze (python) (CodeQL) now fails on this PR after the master merge (9985a6f), but the failure isn't from this PR. It fails the same way on master at 99b4a3a (CodeQL run 36800945142). Since 75cc7c4 removed the legacy wallet, the repo has no .py files left, so CodeQL stops with "could not process any code written in Python". This PR only changes README.md and three PNGs.

I haven't ported a fix, because none exists yet. The check should pass again once Python code is back on master (#230). Until then, .github/workflows/codeql.yml could skip the init and analyze steps when git ls-files '*.py' is empty.

Update: #299 switched CodeQL from Python to GitHub Actions workflows. I merged master into this branch again (599323c), so the Python job no longer runs here.
