Restyle home toward legacy logo + NEWS & AWARDS band, papers/courses/awards as flat lists, members as EDA/Quantum horizontal tracks with autoplay scroll, CRA navy/gold tokens and cra-layout.css. Use legacy /images/host/ric.jpeg on Host page (square portrait, right column). Restructure Host layout to match CRA HostProfile; remove PI badge on Host and member detail. Remove the extra home intro band so the page matches logo plus NEWS & AWARDS. Switch members to EDA/Quantum grids without search or carousel, and tune CRA styles for news width, host gradient, and member cards. Update smoke and home browser expectations accordingly. Introduce locale-aware --fw-* scale on html[lang] and wire body, layout, components, and CRA meta (award authors, papers) through it. Drop home-cra overlay pseudo-element (prior commit) and let the home hero start at the viewport top with opening padding for the fixed navbar. Host social icons (539bae6): On dark navy host backdrop,
--host-social-glyphis now--cra-light-blue(#bcdddf) at ~94% opacity at rest (CRA used white links). Hover brightens to white. Light theme keeps dark blue glyphs.
