Tasks API (Demo Repository)

A minimal Express.js REST API for managing tasks. Used as a lightweight, self-contained target repository for demonstrating an AI coding agent workflow: inspecting code, identifying a missing feature, implementing a fix, adding tests, and returning the result.

Endpoints

• GET /tasks — list all tasks
• POST /tasks — create a task (currently accepts any body, no validation)
• DELETE /tasks/:id — remove a task

Run locally

npm install
npm start

Known gap

POST /tasks does not validate the title field. Empty or malformed tasks are currently accepted and stored.
