A lightweight, browser-based tool for visualizing Nmap scan results in a structured, human-readable format.
This project provides a simple HTML interface for parsing and displaying Nmap output, making it easier to analyze hosts, ports, and services without manually digging through raw scan data.
nmapVisualizer is a standalone HTML application designed to transform Nmap scan results into an interactive and readable format directly in your browser.
It is ideal for:
- Penetration testers
- Security researchers
- Network administrators
- Anyone working with Nmap output
No backend, installation, or dependencies are required — just open the file and use it.
- Parses Nmap scan output for easy analysis
- Displays hosts, open ports, and services in a structured layout
- Fully client-side (no data leaves your browser)
- Simple and fast — no setup required
- Portable single-file tool
- A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.)
- Nmap scan output (typically XML or compatible format)
-
Run an Nmap scan and save the output:
nmap -oX scan.xml <target>
-
Open the visualizer:
- Open
nmapVisualizer.htmlin your browser
- Open
-
Load your scan:
- Paste or upload your Nmap output (depending on UI)
- View parsed results instantly
nmap -sC -sV -oX results.xml 10.10.10.10Then:
- Open the HTML file
- Load
results.xml - Explore hosts, ports, and services visually
- Parses Nmap XML data in the browser using JavaScript
- Converts raw scan data into structured objects
- Renders results dynamically in the UI
Because everything runs client-side, your scan data remains private and is never uploaded.
