find_package(causalontology CONFIG) now works: installed headers under
include/causalontology/, exported causalontology::causalontology target,
version/config files. Conformance runner becomes opt-in
(-DCAUSALONTOLOGY_BUILD_CONFORMANCE=ON). Verified: cmake build passes all
38 vectors and the installed package tree is complete. Groundwork for the
vcpkg and Conan community ports.

Hello, I am an automated registration bot. I help manage the registration process by checking your registration against a set of AutoMerge guidelines. If all these guidelines are met, this pull request will be merged automatically, completing your registration. It is strongly recommended to follow the guidelines, since otherwise the pull request needs to be manually reviewed and merged by a human.

1. New package registration

Please make sure that you have read the package naming guidelines.

2. AutoMerge Guidelines are all met! ✅

Your new package registration met all of the guidelines for auto-merging and is scheduled to be merged when the mandatory waiting period (3 days) has elapsed.

3. To pause or stop registration

If you want to prevent this pull request from being auto-merged, simply leave a comment. If you want to post a comment without blocking auto-merging, you must include the text [noblock] in your comment.

Tip: You can edit blocking comments to add [noblock] in order to unblock auto-merging.

Is that even a Julia package? I feel like the automerge checks need to be a bit stricter to prevent this type of thing, right?

Huh, of course there's a Julia package in there. There's no way Registrator would have found the information it needs to make a PR without a Project.toml. And AutoMerge does indeed check whether the package can be Pkg.added and imported.

Specifically the diff for Package.toml says

name = "Causalontology"
uuid = "3004a0c0-904b-4b23-bb2b-f3d8408c05b9"
repo = "https://github.com/ai-university-aiu/causalontology.git"
subdir = "bindings/julia"

and the last line shows where to search for the Julia package.

There may very well be other reasons to object to the registration, but an absence of a Julia package is not one, so I'll reopen this PR.

I realized there was a Julia package in there, but the whole repo seems like a mountain of AI slop. I understood previous comments to jokingly mean “is there a Julia package somewhere under that mountain”, which was also my sentiment, and my reason for closing it. Sorry for not being more explicit about that reason. Also, maybe a knee jerk closing as a unilateral decision was a bit of an overreach. I probably shouldn’t do that without a second opinion. Still, my impression is that this project/package is AI slop and thus not suitable for registration.

It's definitely a mountain and I agree that it's likely to be AI slop. But from what I have seen in the past from this particular field, I also know that I couldn't possibly tell substance and slop apart. Let's see whether the author makes any attempt to justify why this qualifies for the General registry.
