[BUG] Game won't preload the assets

This only happends when i try to join a lan server, didn't try with online servers yet, but every time i try to join to my brother's server the game lags alot at the point it becomes unplayable at all, sometimes it doesn't let me pass throw the class selection menu and just disconnects from the server, if i load the itemtest and select a few classes the game lags less and resucess the disconnection probability, also my brother has the exact same problem and his pc is way prowerfull than mine, is there a way to fix it?

Hi. Can you please provide the following info:

• Operating System
• Do you have any errors show up in the console?
• What exactly are your (and your brother's) system's specs ("way prowerfull" isn't very comprehensive)?
• Are you making sure to run the game on the previous2021 beta branch of Source SDK 2013MP?
• What maps are you trying to play on?

Additionally, what do you mean by "preloading assets" in this context?

Please also be aware that this version of Fortress Connected is officially deprecated so any actual bugs will not be fixed.

*me(windows 10), my brother(windows 11)
*nope because the game lags and it diaconnects from the server
*my pc (4gb ram, Processor: AMD A4-5000 APU with Radeon(TM) HD Graphics 1.50 GHz, Grafic card: AMD Radeon HD 8330)
My brother's pc (12gb ram, Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 3300U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx 2.10 GHz, Grafic card: AMD Radeon(TM) Vega 6 Graphics)

And by "preloading assets" basically, if my brother tries to directly join my saver it lags and disconnects but if him loads the itemtest and "preload" the weapons/classes the game won't lag if he tries to join again, keep in mind that without doing that we both can play tf2 perfectly fine
