📍 Palo Alto, California · 🌲 Stanford CS Alum · ☕ Pour-over enthusiast
I'm a senior software engineer and systems architect with 15+ years of experience designing, scaling, and battle-testing distributed computing infrastructure. I studied Computer Science at Stanford University and spent the last decade and a half deep in the weeds of high-concurrency network runtimes, cache hierarchies, memory allocators, and kernel bypass architectures.
I love taking thorny distributed state bugs and reducing them down to clean, bulletproof invariants.
- ⚡ Distributed Systems: Consensus engines (Raft/Paxos), distributed key-value storage, and high-throughput messaging fabrics.
- 🦀 Low-Latency Runtimes: Rust, Go, C++, and Linux kernel tracing (eBPF, perf, io_uring).
- 🧠 AI & Serving Infrastructure: Optimizing KV cache pipelines, tensor communication primitives, and memory efficiency across large-scale compute clusters.
- 🤝 Open Source: Contributing upstream fixes, performance optimizations, and deterministic test harnesses to the foundations of modern cloud infrastructure.
When I'm away from the terminal:
- 🏃 Running the Stanford Dish trail or cycling along Skyline Boulevard.
- ☕ Dialing in light-roast Ethiopian pour-overs (always chasing the perfect extraction).
- 🎿 Skiing fresh powder in Lake Tahoe during winter.
- 🏕️ Backcountry camping across the High Sierra.
