I am on Ventura, i cant seem to upgrade, would the FindmySync need some form of update or rejig for this to continue to be compatible?

Short answer: this is not a Ventura problem and nothing is broken yet. The message
comes from Home Assistant core, because FindMySync posts to the legacy action by
default: FindMySync/AppDelegate.swift:25 sets endpoint_url to
http://homeassistant.local:8123/api/services/device_tracker/see, and
Synchronizer.swift:723 builds the payload for it. Core keeps that action until
2027.5, so your sync will keep working until then.

Two things that may help here:

• A fix is already open as a PR: Add MQTT transport with Home Assistant discovery #50 by @gheydon adds an MQTT transport with HA
  discovery and says Fixes #48. For your case it matters that it does not raise
  the deployment target (still MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET = 10.15); it only adds
  pod 'CocoaMQTT', '~> 2.3'. So building the PR branch yourself looks viable on
  Ventura, unlike the alternative below.
• The maintained fork is not an option for you: manonstreet/FindMySyncPlus
  solved the same thing (its issue Integration with OwnTracks Recorder? #18) and keeps existing entity IDs, but its README
  requires macOS 15 (Sequoia) or higher. On Ventura that route is closed.

One core detail that makes this confusing to diagnose: the log warning is printed
only once per HA restart, while the repair item is re-created on every single
call and is persistent. So a clean log after a restart does not mean it stopped;
dismissing the repair item and seeing it come back is the reliable test.

Finally, a heads-up for anyone finding this thread: because dev_id gets the prefix
findmy_, these reports regularly get filed against the Home Assistant integration
GoogleFindMy-HA instead. The full trace from a reporter's payload back to
updateEntity() is written up in BSkando/GoogleFindMy-HA#212 -- that integration
never calls the deprecated action.
