Feature request: Generic N dimensional histogram #188
Even though the package description says "1D/2D/3D histograms", I wish it would have generic $N$-D histograms. (I want to use 4-D hist for my project.)
Is there any chance of adding this?
when I created this project, I didn't find a way to generalize to N-D, partly because we aim for maximal performance, also because high-dimensional histograms tends to be sparse, but 4D seems, borderline useful, I know in HEP some dense histograms are 4D.
