Summary

npm latest is still @mysten-incubation/memwal@0.1.8 (22 Sep) and PyPI memwal is still 0.1.11 (same day). The SDK code on main and dev is already past that. Promote #1238 (18 Oct) ran both release workflows and they skipped:

  • TypeScript: Version 0.1.8 already published, skipping (run)
  • Python publishes pyproject.toml's version as-is, and 0.1.11 is already on PyPI

dev and staging only publish prerelease tags (0.1.8-dev.N, 0.1.8-rc.N, 0.1.11.devN). Nothing bumps latest until the version string changes and the commit reaches main.

This sets TypeScript to 0.1.9 and Python to 0.1.12, and moves the unreleased changelog notes into those versions. rememberBulk on TypeScript already sends a 30-minute idempotency key in this tree. Python remember does too. Python remember_bulk_async still does not.

Merging to dev publishes 0.1.9-dev.0 and 0.1.12.devN only. npm install / pip install stay on the old versions until this is promoted to main.

Test plan

  • Version strings match: packages/sdk/package.json 0.1.9, Python pyproject.toml and __version__ 0.1.12
  • No ## Unreleased left above those headings
  • After merge to dev, confirm the release jobs do not move the latest dist-tag

The 18 Oct promote to main already had these SDK fixes, but the version
strings were still 0.1.8 and 0.1.11, so both release jobs skipped publish.

The package changelogs and the docs pages had drifted, and several
fixes since the last published SDK were still under Unreleased or missing.
