libSBOL provides the core C/C++ interfaces and their implementation for the Synthetic Biology Open Language (SBOL). Version 2.3.0 of libSBOL provides an API for computer-aided design for synthetic biology. It is able to read and write SBOL version 2.1.0 XML/RDF files.
This beta release includes support for querying online parts repositories as well as experimental classes for representing combinatorial libraries for synthetic biology.
This release includes binary installers for Windows. Both 32 bit and 64 bit version are supported.

Mac OSX binary distributions can be obtained through the Homebrew package service. Linux users are encouraged to build the libraries from source or try linuxbrew package service.
