Thank you very much for your PR! Unfortunately this breaks the correct alignment of marginpars with the main text for me. See attachment (left is without your PR, right with your PR).

see my edit. One can also set a specific font. the problem is that the sidepar is floating but that's a plus as vspaces can be use with oneline skips :) |
