Install

These skills are distributed through skills.sh. The skills CLI needs no global install — npx fetches it each time.

From this repository

# everything, into every agent it detects, without prompting
npx skills add bagisto/agent-skills --all

# just one skill
npx skills add bagisto/agent-skills --skill "bagisto-coding-standards"

# see what a repo offers before committing to it
npx skills add bagisto/agent-skills --list

Run it inside the project so the skills install per-project and are recorded in that project's skills-lock.json. Add --global only for skills you want in every project on the machine — a per-project install is what lets a Bagisto 2.4 checkout and a 2.5 checkout hold different sets.

From a fork or any other repository

add takes either owner/repo or a full GitHub URL, so a fork, a company mirror or a private repo works the same way:

npx skills add your-org/agent-skills
npx skills add https://github.com/your-org/agent-skills

Anything laid out like this repo — a skills/ directory of folders each containing a SKILL.md — is installable. --full-depth makes it search nested directories even when a root SKILL.md exists.

Where the files land

By default the installer symlinks each skill into every agent directory it finds (.claude/skills/, .agents/skills/, and so on), so one copy on disk serves them all. Pass --copy to write real files instead — at the cost of the copies drifting silently from their source.

Target one agent with --agent, e.g. --agent claude, or --agent '*' for all.

Living with them

npx skills list # what is installed, and where from
npx skills update # pull the latest version of every skill
npx skills remove --skill "name" # remove one
npx skills experimental_install # restore exactly what skills-lock.json records

Try a skill without installing it:

npx skills use bagisto/agent-skills@bagisto-datagrid-development

On versions: add always takes the repository's default branch — there is no --ref, --branch or --tag, and skills-lock.json records no version. A Bagisto 2.4 project and a 2.5 project therefore receive identical skills, so anything version-specific is labelled 2.4 / 2.5 inside the skill text. npx skills update pulls the latest with no pin; the labels are what keep a 2.4 project safe.

└── README.md

AGENTS.md is assembled from rules/, the way Laravel Boost composes laravel/core with laravel/v12. Build it for a line, or let it detect one:

bin/build-agents.sh --version 2.4
bin/build-agents.sh --app /path/to/bagisto   # reads Core::BAGISTO_VERSION
bin/build-agents.sh --check # CI guard against hand-edits

Contributing

The authoring standard is skills/CONTRIBUTING.md. Its mechanical rules are enforced:

bin/lint-skills.sh # frontmatter, size caps, requires, dangling links
bash skills/tests/lint-skills.test.sh # proves each rule actually fires

A SKILL.md is a router of at most 150 lines; depth lives in reference files beside it, capped at 500 lines each, loaded only when a task needs them.
