chef-workstation does not currently have a package for Debian 12 and attempts to install it results in an error:

Describe the Need:
Debian 12 is the current stable Debian release and was released over a year ago and anyone wanting to run chef-workstation on Debian 12 will not be able to until packages for Debian 12 are being built.
Current Alternative:
Could possibly run the Debian 11 package on Debian 12, but I haven't tried this.
