[BUG] Bounding Box hover covers entire web page when used in shiny

Context

I am including lonboard in a web app using shiny for python.
I've tried hiding the controls but that doesn't work either.

Resulting behaviour, error message or logs

The square on the bottom right of a lonboard map, when hovered over covers almost the entire screen.

Environment

• OS: macOS and Ubuntu 26
• Browser: Brave
• Lonboard Version: 0.16.0

Use the above app

• uv sync
• uv run shiny run app.py
• hover over bounding box

Indeed this is not intentional. I don't think this happens normally; so it seems to be specifically an interaction with shiny?

I think it uses absolute positioning for the CSS which may be confusing it? I was able to do some gross css to hide it.

I don't know enough about CSS myself to understand why it's happening or how to fix it. A PR with before and after screenshots would be great
