Triage & clear stale PR backlog — mobilerun repo

Context

The droidrun/mobilerun repo has ~12 open PRs, several of them valuable contributor work sitting unmerged for months. Leaving good PRs open erodes community goodwill and loses real value (perf wins, bug fixes, new providers). This ticket triages them with a clear verdict each: merge, needs-work, or close.

Per-PR verdicts

🟢 Merge (high value, low risk — do first)

• Feat/add litellm provider #384 — Add LiteLLM provider — unlocks 100+ LLM providers, additive/optional extra, 71 tests passing, lint clean, live E2E shown. Strongest candidate. Verify against current main, merge.
• Add MCP registry server.json (remote HTTP endpoint) #388 — Add MCP registry server.json — official MCP registry entry (io.github.droidrun/mobilerun). Strategic for agent discoverability. Ours (PeLae1). Verify endpoint/version, merge.
• feat: add smoke test CI for PR regression testing #278 — Smoke-test CI — adds regression CI that runs tests on PRs. Directly fixes the "no test CI" gap. Merge or reimplement, then it guards everything else.

🟡 Merge after review + rebase (valuable but old/needs verification)

• perf(portal): reuse persistent HTTP session to reduce TCP setup latency #295 — Persistent HTTP session (perf) — ~50% latency reduction, benchmarked + soak-tested, bandit clean, no API change. Old (Mar), touches pre-rename droidrun/tools/... → needs rebase.
• fix: prevent executor agent from getting stuck in action loop #276 — Prevent executor stuck loop (fixes Executor agent gets stuck in a loop when no action is possible #251) — real reliability fix for light LLMs looping. Rebase against current agent code, review, merge.
• fix: store ui_state in context store before code execution #275 — Store ui_state before code execution (fixes CodeAct executor crashes with TypeError: object of type 'NoneType' has no len() because ui_state was never stored before execution #250) — NoneType crash fix. Check whether already fixed in main since March; if not, merge.
• Add credential placeholders and env-backed secrets #341 — Credential placeholders + env-backed secrets (closes Feature Request: Credential Manager for Secure Input via Tools #127) — secrets handling with no-leak regression tests. Needs security review + rebase.
• Add structured output schema API #340 — Structured output schema API (closes Feature Request: Structured Output via Pydantic Models #125) — set_output_schema, 8 tests. Confirm it doesn't overlap the Cloud API outputSchema, then merge.

🟠 Needs-work (request info / validation before deciding)

• feat: add VMOSDriver for VMOS Cloud phone control #315 — VMOS cloud-phone driver — new device backend, but E2E incomplete (needs live device) and pre-rename imports. Ask contributor to validate + rebase.
• feat: add android ssh driver #280 — Android SSH driver — niche connection mode (no ADB). Assess fit vs cloud approach; needs review + rebase.
• Wei b3 events #381 — "Wei b3 events" — no description, unclear scope. Request description; likely telemetry events.

🔴 Close (low value)

• Add MCP Toplist rank badge #393 — MCP Toplist rank badge — third-party vanity badge that phones home to an external site from the README. Decline politely.

Definition of Done

• Every open PR has a decision recorded (merged / needs-work comment / closed)
• The 3 "merge first" PRs merged
• Contributors on needs-work PRs pinged with clear next steps
