The new Elastic CLI now includes an extension system:

Lets create a diag extension that uses esdiag as the execution layer. This allows for commands like elastic diag collect, elastic diag process etc. to pass through.
Thanks to the Elastic CLI passing through credentials from the .elasticrc.yml file via environment variables, we should have a fairly easy way to leverage pre-existing authentication methods without needing to configure everything into the ESDiag hosts file and keystore.
