Is it possible to boost microphone gain?

Hello,
Firstly, thanks for a good package.
I am testing my app on two different phones, and it seems to be that audio stream from microphone is a bit deaf and silent.
Is it possible to boost it? Even in native code, it would be ok.
I found an issue about this problem, tried the solution, but the result is not as I expected:

change the value "1.5" on these lines:

audioMedia.adjustRxLevel((float) 1.5);
audioMedia.adjustTxLevel((float) 1.5);

RX means it's the package the other end will receive from you
TX it's the package you will receive from the other end

1.5 means that the Db's it's boosted 1,5 times.
change it to the value you want to

Do you know, is it possible to somehow change this value after compiling project (and after installing on device)? I would like to make a special setting in my app, where the user will be able to change this setting as a preference.

Maybe if you can pass the value from the JS with react-native, and change a value with the 2 functions on the Java PJSIP library.
the 2 functions would be:

audioMedia.adjustRxLevel((float) 1.5);
audioMedia.adjustTxLevel((float) 1.5);
