Bug: spacebar hold delay doesn't follow the long press duration setting + has no haptics #2285

Description

@Felix14-v2

Reproduction steps

  • Set Long Press Duration to a smaller value (like 200 ms)
  • Try to hold the spacebar to trigger cursor movement
  • Feel the problem

Actual result

Spacebar ignores the configured delay. Also you can't get when the gesture is finally triggered, since there's no haptic feedback.

Expected result

Single vibration pulse should be triggered when the cursor movement mode is activated, just like it was in previous versions. I'd also request increasing movement sensitivity and add per-word cycling when the finger is moved to the keyboard edges to be able to navigate through big texts. Currently you can only navigate through 3 or 4 words per movement, which makes this feature relatively useless.

Information

  • Keyboard Version: 0.1.30
  • OS: Android 13
  • Device model: Tecno Pova 2
  • Firmware: HiOS v7.6.0
