Description
On an Atlantic Shogun Navizone gainable installation with several zones (rooms), one zone's climate entity is created with an unknown_product fallback name and only exposes heating (off/heat), while all other zones in the exact same installation are correctly mapped and support cool/heat/auto.
Reinstalling the integration entirely does not fix it — it's consistently remapped the same incomplete way, which points to a missing mapping for this specific device/zone model, not a sync issue.
Evidence the device itself supports cooling
With "Create entities for unknown capabilities" enabled, the affected zone exposes separate number and sensor entities showing the device DOES report both heating and cooling data:
number.unknown_product_1734_temperature_consigne (heating setpoint, Z1)
number.unknown_product_1734_temperature_consigne_cool (cooling setpoint, Z2)
- Weekly schedule sensors show two distinct zones with distinct setpoint ranges:
- Z1 (heating): e.g. "06:00 20°C / 22:00 19°C"
- Z2 (cooling): e.g. "07:00 29°C / 21:00 24°C"
So the device clearly has a reversible (heat+cool) zone, but only a heating-only climate entity gets created, silently dropping the Z2/cooling capability. No climate entity or mode selector is created for the cooling side.
Working vs broken entity naming (same installation, same account)
Working rooms (properly mapped, support cool/heat):
climate.air_conditioner_bureau_climatisation
climate.air_conditioner_chambre_3_climatisation
climate.air_conditioner_chambre_4_climatisation
climate.air_conditioner_chambre_parentale_climatisation
climate.air_conditioner_salon_climatisation
Broken room (fallback mapping, heat-only):
climate.unknown_product_1734_chauffage — no cool mode available, despite the cool setpoint number entity existing for the same device.
All rooms are on the same Shogun Navizone system, same Cozytouch account, same gateway.
What I expected
This zone should be mapped like the other zones in the same installation, with a full reversible climate entity (heat/cool/auto) instead of a heating-only fallback.
Environment
- Integration: gduteil/cozytouch
- Home Assistant Core: 2026.9.1
- Device: Atlantic Shogun Navizone (gainable, multi-zone reversible)
- "Create entities for unknown capabilities": enabled (needed to see the raw capability entities above)
Happy to provide further diagnostics/raw capability dumps for this device to help build the correct mapping — just let me know what's needed.
