When displaying lists of elements, all the elements are loaded from the database, then a pagination is applied. This becomes a problem when the number of elements gets high, making load time of the page very long.
Example: Open ReLiS with demo user, open 'Model Transformation' project, then go to Papers -> All.

One way to solve this is to apply lazy loading principles when displaying lists of elements: Only the data that the user actually sees on his screen is loaded from database.
