About Me

I didn't choose between building, designing, and leading. I decided to be all three.

Hi! I'm Swagata Banerjee, a Computer Science Engineering student at VIT Vellore who genuinely loves the full stack of bringing ideas to life: the logic behind the system, the empathy behind the interface, and the vision that holds a team together.

That's led me further than I expected. I grew from a core member to Chairperson of Innovators Quest, Founded an EdTech startup, took it from zero to 1000+ active users. Beyond that: Project Lead at Lean In, Manager at Bangalore Leadership Circle, Forward Champion at McKinsey, and an intern FDE in the automotive sector. Each role added a layer of sharper thinking, cleaner communication, and faster execution.

Technically, I work across Python, C++, and TypeScript, and I've gone deep on AI, BigQuery, and Kubernetes through 120+ Google Cloud labs. My foundation isn't just functional code, it's systems thinking applied to real constraints.

Design thinking is how I'm wired. Figma is my thinking space, Agile is my operating model, and the intersection of user insight, technical feasibility, and stakeholder trust is where I do my best work.

The credential I'm most proud of isn't on any title, position, or certificate. It's that I show up, figure it out, and leave every project and team better than I found it.
