I think @ccarter is right: others may want to develop Chronologic using Ruby 1.9.2 or another platform and shouldn't be forced to use any single platform by |

Well, they aren't forced to use it. The first thing almost every developer that works on the project is going to do is delete/modify the .rvmrc and add it to gitignore. IMHO. I do believe internal projects should have the rvmrc committed to facilitate consistency between dev boxes. |

I don't believe the rvmrc should be checked in.
