hi, im trying to install things like file and proot-distro and they dont work. i tried to search and there is a limited number of results. it seems that pkg is locked with this repo commands, is there a way to bring it back to normal?

file is installed by default in a-Shell, so I'm not sure why you want to install it wiht pkg.
You have to keep in mind: a-Shell is an appstore-approved app, that let you access the iPhone file system. As a consequence, the commands you can install are commands that respect the appstore rules (and the technical limitations in the iOS BSD Unix). This is the reason behind the limitations; you will never be able to install every Unix package.

That being said, as it says in the documentation and the source code of pkg, if you set the environment variable PKG_SERVER to any server, pkg will use this server instead of the current repository. It won't work unless you have a deep knowledge of what you're doing (i.e. just setting it to another repository won't work), but you can set it to anything.

yeah i want to use the default server but i'm not that expert of linux :/
