A modern, role-based healthcare web application designed to streamline patient intake, appointment scheduling, and clinical workflows for real-world care teams.
π https://evo-doc-flow.vercel.app
EvoDoc Flow is a production-ready frontend application built to simulate how clinics manage patient flow efficiently.
The system provides two dedicated portals:
- π©ββοΈ Nurse / Receptionist Portal β for patient intake and appointment management
- π§ββοΈ Doctor Portal β for clinical overview, scheduling, and patient insights
The goal was to design a clean, intuitive, and scalable interface that reflects real clinical workflows.
- Multi-step patient registration (Personal, Medical, Emergency)
- Auto age calculation from DOB
- Structured clinical data capture
- Schedule appointments with doctor selection
- Filter by status (Scheduled, Completed, Cancelled)
- Search by patient or physician
- Daily and weekly appointment insights
- Patient statistics and wait time tracking
- Activity timeline with recent updates
- Clear separation of nurse and doctor responsibilities
- Optimized UI for fast data entry and review
- Real-world inspired workflow structure
- Clean SaaS-style interface
- Fully responsive (mobile, tablet, desktop)
- Light/Dark theme support
- Framework: Next.js (App Router)
- Language: TypeScript
- Styling: Tailwind CSS
- State Management: Zustand
- UI Icons: Lucide React
- Date Handling: date-fns
- Deployment: Vercel
- Role-Based Architecture: Separate portals improve clarity and usability
- Zustand for State: Lightweight and scalable for managing patients and appointments
- Component Reusability: UI components designed for consistency and maintainability
- Clinical Workflow Focus: Prioritized real-world usability over generic layouts

- Desktop dashboards (primary use case)
- Tablet layouts
- Mobile-friendly navigation
- Authentication is simulated using local state
- Data is stored in-memory (no backend integration)
- Designed as a frontend-focused system for demonstration purposes
- Backend integration (Node.js / Firebase)
- Real authentication system (JWT / OAuth)
- Role-based access control (RBAC)
- Database integration for persistent storage
- Notifications and real-time updates
