If I'm not mistaken, this part of the code is a fully copy/paste of a 3rd party library and any changes directly to it would be lost once we update it from the 3rd party again. |

The third party library seems not to be maintained. There are two PRs for this issue for months: danielstjules/Stringy#193 I would love to see greek slugs work properly in laravel out of the box. |
