Steps to reproduce
- Connect Aurral to Lidarr.
- Pick an artist where you own some but not all albums (e.g. Muse — I have 3–4 of ~10 in the discography).
- Open the Library — both the home "Recently added" and the Albums list.
- Observe that every album in the artist's discography is listed, including ones I have no files for (shown as "0/10 available"), and the library count reflects the whole catalog.
Expected behavior
The Library should show only the music I actually have (albums/tracks with available files). Either fix would work for me:
- a "show available only" toggle on the Library, ideally defaulting to on, or
- an option to import only owned/monitored albums from Lidarr instead of the whole catalog.
The album and track endpoints already accept an availableOnly param — it just isn't applied to these Library views or exposed as a setting.
Actual behavior
With Lidarr connected, the Library fills up with every album in each artist's discography, not just the ones I have files for. The albums I don't own sit there labelled "0/10 available." This shows up on the Library home under "Recently added," in the Albums list, and in the library count (which reflects the whole catalog). There is currently no way to hide the unavailable ones.
Related: when I delete an artist in Lidarr, it lingers in the Aurral library instead of going away. An available-only Library would make it disappear on its own once nothing is available — which I think would also resolve #750.
Impact
Causes a minor or occasional problem
Aurral version or image tag
2.8.0
Environment
Self hosted on k8s accessed via safari, Lidarr backend.
Logs or stack traces
Screenshots or supporting files
CleanShot 2026-09-02 at 17.15.25@2x.png
Workaround
None. The availableOnly param exists on the album/track endpoints but isn't exposed in the UI or applied to the Library views, so there's no way to filter to owned music.
