Wallet seems to be unstable when internet is poor #56
Hi, I find that when i have an internet connection glitch and the line is backup again, the wallet doesnt seems to be able to re-connect - example i would pop in to check my emails or wake up in the morning and then find the wallet is in an un-synched or not synched status.
Is it possible that another cli can be used as an alternative or an improvement be made to the wallet connectivity intelligence ?
Is there a log i can send you maybe or how can i help you ?
Hi,
This is quite weird. Normally, the wallet saves its peers into the peers.dat file, so when it looses connection, it should try to reconnect to those peers. It could be caused by the outdated dns-seeds that are coded into the wallet. Are you on a windows or a linux machine? If you're on linux, I recommend you go to https://github.com/magi-dev/magi/releases/tag/v1.4.7.2 and give this release a try. It has updated dns-seeds
