As just discussed with @meggart the DiskArrayTools package should be removed in the long-term and the still used parts should find new homes either in DiskArrays or in the case of CFDiskArray in a geospecific package.
The more advanced topics could move to DiskArrayEngine. maybe in weak dependencies.
