@kirstywilliams this isn't working for me. I've followed your instructions and copied db.php to wp-content folder and still same issue ... unable to update to 4.6.1+ It goes through the process and appears to update but when I click on other admin links in wp, I get 'page isn’t working' error message by browser. |

I am also currently getting this issue. I updated PG4WP and copied db.php. No luck. |
