Summary
Avoid descending unrelated top-level monorepo subtrees when every scoped instruction has a literal top-level
applyToprefix. Wildcard or root-wide patterns preserve the existing full-project walk, while the canonical singleos.walktraversal remains intact.Testing
Added regression coverage showing
src/**/*.pyscanssrcwithout materializing an unrelatedvendorsubtree. Existing root-wide**/*.pycoverage continues to protect the full-walk fallback.Fixes #2512
