chore: back-merge v0.60.1 into devel
Extends the whitespace-insensitive diff normalization (#461) to also resolve inter-tag whitespace differences, so reflowed indentation (e.g. a document reformatted from pretty-printed to compact XML, or vice versa) is not shown as a change. Whitespace inside element text content is left untouched, since it can be semantically significant there; only whitespace strictly between a closing '>' and the next '<' is treated as insignificant. Genuine content differences are still detected and shown. Adds an "Ignore ␣¶" toggle switch to the XML editor toolbar so this normalization can be turned off per session. It defaults to on, persists via uiStorage, and is only enabled while a merge/diff view is active (toggling it is a read-only display preference, so it stays enabled even when the editor itself is read-only).
