Static ruleset in dynamically loaded library

Another Zach here, with a question for you about pararules - but before that, thanks for your time, hard work and dedicated sense of humor - they has made exploring pararules and paranim a enjoyable and learning-filled experience.

Onto my question - I am trying to leverage staticRuleset inside of a Nim module that I am compiling to a shared library and loading / unloading at runtime. Everything is compiling fine, but when I try to invoke initSession in a function I invoke after my shared library is loaded, I encounter a segfault.

I'm guessing this is not really possible to achieve with staticRuleset - is that correct? If so, no biggie - I can always use staticRuleset when producing release builds of my project where I don't depend on loading and unloading plugins at runtime and statically link instead.

Hello, I actually have never built a shared library with nim so it's hard to say what the issue is there. I don't see why it would be a problem though...I assume you're talking to the library over the C ABI, which certainly won't understand the complex type generated by staticRuleset, but if the pararules code is all internal to the shared library that shouldn't matter. It's hard to say without knowing more about your project.
