fix(mobile): the iPad inspector hides the sidebar where the page would get too narrow - #27218
On iOS 26 the native inspector column opened beside the sidebar at any width. On a portrait 13" iPad that left the thread about 290pt. The JS columns already move the sidebar out of the way when the page would drop under 560pt. The native path was exempt because UIKit sizes its inspector column itself (https://git.cafe/pingdotgg/t3code/pulls/24985).
The shell now owns the native inspector's width and applies the same rule with a 320pt minimum:
iPad
Page beside sidebar + inspector
Result
11", landscape
330–336pt
three columns
13", landscape
446pt
three columns
mini, landscape
317pt
thread + inspector
13", portrait
289pt
thread + inspector
The sidebar button closes the inspector and brings the sidebar back, as on the JS path. layout.test.ts covers both sides.
Before (13" portrait, previous layer): the thread squeezed to about 290pt.
After: the sidebar steps aside and the sidebar button appears in the thread bar.
Not part of this change: with the sidebar hidden, by this rule or by hand, the workspace tab pill floats over the composer's left end. That already happens on the layer below.
Macroscope's review found this PR requires human approval — The inspector now automatically hides the sidebar when space is tight and uses shared mobile headers. Human review is required for the changed layout default and the new lint-suppression directive in AppBar.tsx.

Walkthrough
The native workspace now tracks inspector width as a viewport-relative value. Pane layout uses that width to determine when to suppress the primary sidebar. The iOS workspace columns use the shared width when rendering and resizing the inspector.

The adaptive layout tracks inspector width as a viewport-relative fraction and exposes the derived width and setter through context. iOS workspace columns use that width and update it from the drag-start width plus the drag delta.
Pane width rules and tests apps/mobile/src/lib/layout.ts, apps/mobile/src/lib/layout.test.ts
Pane layout uses native inspector width to determine when to suppress the primary sidebar. nativeInspectorColumnWidth applies a 260 px floor and a 60% viewport cap. Tests cover wide landscape and narrow portrait layouts.
The change is mergeable with awareness that, on affected iPad layouts, tabs can overlap the composer and restoring the sidebar may require another action.

Add a non-default inspector width to the native layout table.
Both current native-inspector cases pass a width calculated with fraction 0.4. A regression that ignores nativeInspectorWidth and always uses 40% of the viewport would pass these assertions. Add a fixed-viewport case with a different width and an expected suppression result.

Update the native inspector cases in the `it.each` table to include a
fixed-viewport case with a non-default inspector width and its expected
suppression result. Pass each case’s inspector fraction to
`nativeInspectorColumnWidth` instead of hardcoding `0.4`, so the test verifies
that `deriveWorkspacePaneLayout` respects `nativeInspectorWidth`.

Make the first sidebar request close the inspector.
If a user hides the sidebar before opening the inspector, primarySidebarSuppressedByAuxiliary is false. In AdaptiveWorkspaceLayout.tsx, togglePrimarySidebar therefore sets the sidebar preference to visible without closing the inspector. This calculation immediately suppresses the sidebar, so the first press does nothing. Update the toggle to account for the width conflict even when the sidebar preference is false. Hide the tab overlay when the inspector suppresses the sidebar.
On a portrait 13-inch iPad, opening the inspector now hides the sidebar, but WorkspaceNativeTabs.ios.tsx keeps its bottom-left overlay visible. The overlay covers the composer’s left end until the inspector closes. Hide or relocate the tabs when the sidebar is suppressed. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
